Our story, the people behind it and the changes we work towards.
Plogging Armenia is an environmental NGO that brings together movement, litter collection and community participation. We organize activities where people can care for their surroundings while spending time outdoors together.
Our work connects practical cleanups with environmental education. You can walk, jog or run: the purpose is to take part and help look after the places we share.
In 2021, during a community project in Gyumri, a young participant suggested plogging. The idea was simple: combine movement with collecting litter.
On 22 May 2021, around 500 people took part in Plogging Gyumri. That early experience showed how an environmental activity could bring a community together.
In 2022, Davit Muradyan established Plogging Armenia to continue and develop this work.
President & Founder
Davit founded Plogging Armenia after the experience in Gyumri. He connects environmental action with sport, volunteering and education, helping people take an active role in their communities.
He leads the organization’s strategy, partnerships and development, working with volunteers, local communities and supporting organizations.
We bring people together for plogging events, develop educational activities and share practical resources. Local collaboration helps us organize activities that fit each community.
Our programs also give teams, schools and groups a way to learn and take action together.
